Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress famous for her performance in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Born as the only daughter to Romanian actor Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered the world of show business early, and ended up acting in lead roles on various television dramas by the time she reached the age of 16. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall the role she played as the Secretary Traudljunge of Adolf Hitler was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film featuring this divas. Alexandra is well known for her involvement in many important projects in both the US and internationally. The projects include British biographical feature Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon, amongst others. In addition, she has been an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as and The Cannes Film Festival.
